THE JACOB BURNS FILM CENTER FACILITY

The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the site of the former Rome Theater at 364 Manville Road in Pleasantville, NY. The original 1925 theater was renovated and expanded to create an 18,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility with three theaters.

Theater 1
The Jacob Burns Film Center has three theaters. Within the walls of the original building is the largest theater with 250 seats, a stage and adjustable acoustics suitable for live events such as music recitals, readings, lectures, and panel discussions.

Theater 3
In the new space, a more intimate theater with 136 seats (Theater 2) and a 70-seat screening room (Theater 3) provide the flexibility to show a broad range of films appealing to audiences of differing sizes. This extensive programming translates into longer runs of current art films as well as films tailored to special interests for every age.

The Jane Peck Gallery
On the upper level of the Jacob Burns Film Center, accessible by elevator or dramatic stairway, is a large open space used during the day for educational programs.

For questions about the facility, please email Sheri Signer, General Manager, at ssigner@burnsfilmcenter.org
